Dear Frank
I met you briefly when I stayed at the Ashburton Hotel last Thursday. I wanted to say how much I appreciated all the support I received from Leanne in rather difficult circumstances at the Irrigation NZ Seminar last week. I was the presenter for the day and the person who normally coordinates the detail arrived late.
Leanne at all times was charming, calm and very practical. Her ability to assess the situation and see what is needed is quite exceptional. Her attention to little details was much appreciated, like my need for gluten free food and adding flowers to the dinner tables. She was able to sort out the participants labels and arrange appropriately so that people from the same company were not sitting together. She asked questions to ensure that she was doing exactly what I required recognising that every client wants something different. She made sure all the seats faced the whiteboard and screen. (I have seen people try to put 8 around one round table and expect people to see through the back of their heads) She understood the options for setting tables and the importance of numbers and not having empty seats etc. She just seemed to have the ability to make everything “just right”
Please also say thanks to the desk staff who were very helpful typing up missing labels.
